TAOIST STYLE CANDLES FOR RITUALS
For augmented auspiciousness of your altar, candles should be lit before the incense is lit. (pictured on the left: small and medium size candles - pictured on the right: large size candles). The difference between Western type candles and Chinese Taoist candles is that with the Western type of candle regardless of the size of the candle the flame is always the same size as opposed to the Chinese Taoist type of candles, the bigger the candle the bigger the flame.
